 Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program

  • OYAP-FAST is an accelerated stream of OYAP that allows students in Grade 11 and 12 to participate in more apprenticeship learning while working towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Great opportunity to earn high school co-op education credits in a skilled trade and get a head start towards completing an apprenticeship: 
  • Who should apply: Students enrolled in Grade 11 or 12 and at least 15 years old who are interested in mastering a trade! 

#RisingYouth Grants

  • (From Website) Rising Youth is an exciting program that empowers young people all across Canada to shape our country by giving back to their community. Through micro-grants of $250, $750, and $1500, #RisingYouth supports community service projects led by youth!
  • Who should apply: young Canadians aged 15-30 who are looking to make an impact through service projects in their communities

Start a summer company: students & Summer Company - Business Centre Guelph-Wellington (take a look at both)

  • Through this program, you can get start-up money to kick-off a summer business along with advice and mentorship from local business leaders to get your future business up and off the ground in the summer! With a maximum award of $3,000, this program can help students ignite a successful business. 
  • Who should apply: young Canadians aged 15-29 years old who are looking start a business.
  • Deadline: May 16th, 2026 

Model Parliament for High School Students

  • This unique experience brings together students from across Ontario for a three-day Model Parliament Program in Toronto. Students will have the opportunity to play the role of an MPP – a Member of Provincial Parliament – and learn how parliament works through a series of workshops and presdentations. 
  • Who should apply: High School Students!
  • Due Date: Next Fall

Apply Now Explore - Official Languages Programs OLP-PLO

  • In the Explore program, you’ll have the opportunity to learn or improve your French or English skills by speaking the language every day with French or English speakers. You’ll be immersed in local culture in a French or English community in a different province. Explore has been changing participants’ lives for over 50 years, so we’re confident that you’ll have the time of your life. 
  • Who should apply: 
  • Destination Clic (through Explore) → Participants must be enrolled in Grade 8 before the first day of the session. 
  • Explore → 16-17 age groups; 18+ age groups.
